Will you share your Blessings with a family in need this Holiday Season?
The time of the year for Blessing someone is upon us - A time of "Giving and Caring" for others. As part of our "Lend a Helping Hand" during the months of November, December and January, the Camden Rescue Mission Inc., will be working to help families in need within the community during the Holiday season.
We humbly ask of you to "Lend a Helping Hand", by donating any of the following items:
- Food-
Turkeys, hams and all the trimmings for a Thanks Giving Dinner basket for at least 750 families in need during the Holiday seasons; non-perishable items in cans or boxes, desserts such as cakes, cookies, pies, sodas, fruit juices, coffee, cereal etc. Deadline for Thanks Giving November 23rd 2010.
- Clothing-
Seasonal and in decent conditions. Blankets, Quilts, Sleeping Bags, Sweaters or Coats. Anything that can help a needy person get by the winter ahead.
- New Toys-
The Camden Rescue Mission Inc., will be celebrating our 22nd Annual Christmas Celebration for Needy Children. 10,000 toys for 10,000 needy children in Camden New Jersey and surrounding cities. Within today's economy the Mission has seen an increase in families with no jobs, no electricity, almost homeless, with not enough food or winter clothes. This year we would like to make a big difference in their lives but "We need your help"
